A connected ecosystem for flow cytometry

SuperNova Flow Cytometry is building a connected ecosystem around flow cytometry education, tools, and expertise. Explore our collaborations to see what each organization contributes to the community and which opportunities may be available to members. Benefit details, eligibility, and terms are provided with each collaboration.

Meet our collaborators

What they contribute: FluoroFinder provides tools for planning, developing and testing flow cytometry panels, comparing fluorophore spectra, maintain reagent inventory and finding reagents from most antibody providers.

Member benefit: SuperNova Flow Cytometry and FluoroFinder members may qualify for special pricing on licenses. For eligible SuperNova site-license holders, a separate offer may provide one year of complimentary Premium feature access, excluding FluoroFinder eLearning video content.

Eligibility: The license discount is for members of the two organizations; the Premium offer is for eligible SuperNova site-license holders. Contact SuperNova Flow Cytometry for the current offer and activation details.

What they contribute: Ionic Cytometry provides high-parameter cytometry consulting, experiment design, data analysis, interpretation with a deep expertise in CyTOF. Ionic and SuperNova Flow Cytometry also produce the Go With the Flow cytometry podcast.

Member benefit: Eligible SuperNova Flow Cytometry institutional customers may receive one complimentary one-hour consultation with Ionic Cytometry.  Ionic Cytometry client’s may qualify for special pricing on licenses.

Eligibility: This consultation is for eligible institutional customers.  Contact SuperNova Flow Cytometry for the current offer and activation details.

What they contribute: LabNalCit is Mexico’s National Flow Cytometry Laboratory, located at the Institute of Biomedical Research at UNAM, Mexico’s most prestigious university. Established in 2015 as a nonprofit, interinstitutional facility, LabNalCit supports research, provides specialized flow cytometry services, and trains scientists and students. Its network includes associated sites at the Autonomous University of Benito Juárez of Oaxaca (UABJO) and the Autonomous University of Chihuahua (UACH).

Member benefit: Through an exclusive educational agreement, SuperNova Flow Cytometry provides standardized flow cytometry training in Spanish and English through LabNalCit. Together, the organizations aim to democratize flow cytometry across Latin America through workshops, talks, and training for learners at all experience levels. LabNalCit also contributes hands-on training. Eligible learners from Latin America may qualify for special pricing.  LabNalCit also provides Leukemia testing for Mexican nationals are a sliding price scale. Contact LabNalCit for more details.

Eligibility: Prospective SuperNova Flow Cytometry members from Latin America must register through LabNalCit. Special pricing is subject to eligibility and confirmation; contact LabNalCit or SuperNova Flow Cytometry for details.

What they contribute: BD provides tools for research and clinical laboratories, including its PBMC isolation portfolio. BD Vacutainer CPT tubes offer a closed, single-tube method for isolating PBMCs from whole blood—cells that can serve as starting material for flow cytometry and cell and gene therapy workflows. BD and SuperNova Flow Cytometry also collaborate on education to increase awareness of starting material and the importance of appropriate controls.

Member benefit: Organizations that use BD’s PBMC isolation portfolio, as well as eligible SuperNova Flow Cytometry site-license clients, may qualify for special pricing on SuperNova Flow Cytometry consulting services and licenses.

Eligibility: Eligibility is for organizations already using BD PBMC isolation products or SuperNova Flow Cytometry clients with a site license. Contact BD or SuperNova Flow Cytometry to confirm eligibility and current pricing.

What they contribute: Gift of Life recruits and supports volunteer blood stem cell and bone marrow donors, helping connect patients with potential donors for lifesaving transplants. Donors receive a dedicated coordinator, an independent Donor Advocate, covered medical evaluations and travel, and follow-up after donation.

Gift of Life Biologics also supports biotech, pharmaceutical, and academic teams with cell and gene therapy research. Its services include custom donor selection, collection, testing, processing, and cryopreservation. Its CLIA-accredited laboratory offers flow cytometry and cell processing, and its facility includes GMP ISO Class 7 cleanroom suites. Available starting materials include PBMCs, CD34+ cells, and leukopaks, with product-specific GMP/GTP-compliant and RUO+ options.

Member benefit: Through this educational collaboration, SuperNova members can learn about donor-derived starting materials, flow cytometry, and cell and gene therapy workflows. Gift of Life can discuss project-specific support, materials, and pricing directly with interested organizations.

SuperNova Flow Cytometry supports Gift of Life’s dedication to human health and its expertise. Gift of Life is among the organizations SuperNova has designated to receive donations of up to 1% of total revenue.

Eligibility: Educational opportunities are for the SuperNova community. Gift of Life’s research materials and custom services are available to biotech, pharmaceutical, and academic organizations, subject to project needs, product specifications, and applicable quality and use requirements. Contact Gift of Life to confirm availability and eligibility.
